Regional Science City
Regional Science Centre, Lucknow was inaugurated on 7th September, 1989 and it was upgraded as Regional Science City which was inaugurated on 21st September, 2007. In the heart of the capital of Uttar Pradesh, a state-of-the-art Zonal Science City is situated in a sprawling 10-acre land, in which a new building ‘Research Room- has been constructed, in which three (attractive) subjects namely Ground Water Exploration, Biotechnological Revolution and Applied Science have been constructed. and furnished) galleries They have attractive exhibits as well as Cymax and 3D Science Demonstration Rooms which provide experiential learning. This facility is provided by the National Council of Science Museums, Ministry of Culture, Government of India. This Council operates 27 Science Centers and Science Museums across India, in which Zonal Science Center is one. Regional Science Centre, Lucknow was established in 1989, since then more than 31 lakh visitors have visited it.
The Zonal Science City is associated with a new and unique idea of imparting experience based education which has been developed to present science and technology in an impactful manner across the world and in India.
